The Chibots robomagellan competition date has been finalized.

!!! Contest Registration is Open !!!

It is official, Chibots will be holding our Robomagellan contest on August 15th 2009. Set-up will be at 10:30 A.M. with the contest srtarting at 1:30 P.M. The contest will be held at Moraine Valley Community College. We invite anyone to attend. Last year we had many out of state visitors and by the looks of things, we will have some again this year.

As of the April meeting, 10 members will be going to the “Show Me Space” event in Bonne Terre, Missouri to represent ROBOMO. The Library will still be available for our group’s use, however the May meeting will be an informal one with no club business being discussed or mini competions.

Join us May 16th, 2009 for our monthly meeting. Our meetings start at 10:00am and last until 1:00pm, although we usually adjourn a bit early to have a Chinese buffet. Everyone is welcome to attend…if you are curious about robotics please stop by. Bring your current project, in any state of completion, for show and tell or to ask for help. Our members come from a wide range of professions and are more than willing to lend a hand.


Presentations for the June meeting:

  • The May meeting will be an informal one as several of us will be at the Show Me Space event. Help us represent ROBOMO by bringing your pride and joy robotics/electronics project. Be prepared to answer questions from casual museum visitors and NASA rocket scientists.
