Name: Climb
Prize: Undecided at this time

Description: The goal is to build an autonomous robot that can climb a vertically hung string as fast as possible,
without breaking the string, or falling off.

Scoring will be done via lap time + 5 seconds = total time for the run.
A time bonus of total time -3 seconds, will be awarded for any robot that can stop and hold its position at the white painted “STOP Point” for 1 second before completing the climb.
The distance between the “STOP point” and the string is not defined,
and can be moved based on each robots individual needs.
The upper string tie point CAN NOT be modified, moved, or altered from its starting point, no other string limitations apply.(except don’t break the string)
Max robot size limit = 12 inches by 12 inches by 12 inches.
No robot weight limit. (except don’t break the string)
All robots without a 3 second start delay will get a 5 second time penalty added to their total lap time.

A demonstration will be presented at the March meeting.
