AVR data transmission WhereAVR

Postby mcmahan on Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:45 pm

This seemed useful for the near space team, but seems to useful to put in that thread, so I gave it its own. The WhereAVR seems like a pretty cool little gadget. Its an AVR based data trasmitter, that uses basic HAM packet protocols.

Its about as open as you can get...he has the source code and even the board files available. It prob. wouldn't be too hard to make on a standard prototype board or breadboard just to see how it works.

When you click on Tim's link below, you see just a summary of the article. Below the fifth paragraph on the right side there is a {READ} link that takes you to the whole article. Way at the bottom is the download link for the source and the board files.
