ROBOMO is a club for people of all ages and experience levels who are interested in amateur robotics. Our members come from a very diverse background and are interested in a wide variety of robotic topics including mini sumo, line following, mini magellan, special “one of a kind” projects, and more. Our members are always willing to share their knowledge and experiences with each other with the common goal of learning about robotics and having a bit of fun along the way.
Our club meetings are held the third Saturday of each month, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Indian Trails branch of the St. Louis County Library. Click on the calendar on the right side of the page for meeting details and a map.
ROBOMO has been invited to bring our robots to the 2009 Missouri State Fair. There will be members of the KC robotics group there also, and we have been asked to bring mini-sumo’s and line followers in addition to other robotics projects for some friendly grudge matches/demonstrations. Agriculture, industry, military, colleges, and hobbyist will come together August 20 at the 2009 Missouri State Fair for a public showing of robots and robot education in Missouri. There will be exhibits, robot demonstrations, competitions, and hands-on robot activities.

Admission: August 20 is $2 Day and the Governor, Legislators and Judges Day at the Fair. Price of admission to the fair grounds for the day is $2 with children age 12 and under free. The Show-Me Robots event is free! Parking is free every day. Concessionaires will participate by offering some items for $2. A very affordable day to attend the Missouri State Fair!

Engineering Career Day 2009 at the St. Louis Science Center
ROBOMO has been invited back for the 2009 Engineering Career Day at the St. Louis Science Center. The event is being held on September 26th, 2009. September will be here sooner than you think, so mark your calendars. Last year’s event was a lot of fun, and we had many opportunities to introduce ourselves and our club to the general public.
